Clemson offensive coordinator Billy Napier said the scrimmage was what you would expect for the first scrimmage of August.

“I am excited about our group,” said Napier.

The offense struggled against the first team defense, but did well against the second team defense according to Napier.

There was some good and some bad from Tuesday’s scrimmage.  The staff will have plenty to “teach off of” from the film.

Rod McDowell received praise from coach Napier.  Dwayne Allen also played well according to coach Napier.
