Colton Walls, the most recent commit to the 2011 class, says the biggest thing he is working on in order to become a better linebacker is pass coverage.

“A lot of people that have watched my tape say that I need to work on my ability to drop back in coverage.  I am also working on my explosiveness.  With the work I have put in, hopefully I can get some picks,” said Walls.

Colton and his teammates from Latin High School just finished up two-a-days, and now are focusing their attention to their first game this Friday.

“Unfortunately we have had a couple of scrimmages rained out so we are real excited to play against another team this Friday,” said Walls.

The 6’2” 230 lbs. linebacker says that his team is looking really good this year even though they have had some injuries.  Colton will be helping his team out by playing LB, RB, FB, and some times putting a hand down and playing on the defensive line.

Colton said he was planning on coming to a Clemson practice last week but, was elected captain of his team and was responsible for holding a captains meeting and could not make it out.
