Rally Cats Smith and Anderson Join TCI Staff

TheClemsonInsider.com is pleased to announce that Georgia Anderson and Nicole Smith have joined the staff.  Georgia and Nicole, both current members of the Rally Cats, will provide a new perspective on Clemson Athletics.

“We are thrilled to welcome Georgia and Nicole to the staff of TheClemsonInsider.com.  TCI continues to search for new ways to provide the most complete coverage of Clemson Athletics and recruiting.  With the addition of Georgia and Nicole our members will learn more about the hard working Rally Cats and gain a unique perspective of what the game is like from the field or the court,” said TCI owner/publisher Robert MacRae.

Georgia Anderson, a sophomore packaging science major from Summerville, SC, will be starting her second year as a Clemson Rally Cat.  She is also involved in Greek life as a member of Alpha Delta Pi.  Georgia has danced all her life and loves having the opportunity to continue that hobby through college while also cheering on her Clemson Tigers.

“It’s such a privilege to be out there on the field or court, doing what I love, representing Clemson, and supporting our tigers.  I’m so excited about being able to share some of that with our fans by writing for The Clemson Insider,” said Anderson.

Nicole Smith, a junior, Elementary Education major, from Weddington, North Carolina, is entering her second year as a member of the Clemson Rally Cats. Having recovered from knee surgery in 2008, Nicole worked hard freshman year to be prepared for Rally Cat tryouts in 2009. When Nicole is not at practice or work outs with her team, she is an active member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. Nicole takes much pride in being a Clemson Rally Cat and looks forward to each time she steps onto the field or court.

“Being a Clemson Rally Cat is a dream come true! Nothing is better than being able to dance and represent Clemson University at the same time! Go Tigers!,” said Smith.
