Clemson safety DeAndre McDaniel spoke with before Fan Appreciation Day on Sunday.  McDaniel looked forward to meeting the fans.

“It is a fun moment.  You get to go out there and embrace them and have fun,”

The defense is making progress as they are less than two weeks from the matchup with North Texas.

“We are working hard.  We still have more improvement to do.  We will get there for the first game,” said McDaniel.

The defense still has some improvement to do before the first game.

“Just being more focused.  Sometime we are still busting the little stuff.  We will get it.  The coaches are still working us,” said McDaniel.

The All-American safety can’t wait to hit someone that is not wearing orange.

“That will be real nice.  I am tired of beating up on my teammates,” said McDaniel.
