Two of the top teams in the state battled at The Reservation on Friday night where Dorman defeated Gaffney 21-12. Charone Peake, one of the top receivers in the nation, hit the field for the first time in 2010, but had his game cut short with an injury.
Just one play after scoring a rushing touchdown that was called back for a penalty, Peake hurt an ankle and had to leave the game.
After the injury Charone’s ankle was taped on the sidelines and he put on a Clemson sock as he watched his teammates.
TheClemsonInsider.com was on hand for all of the action. Following the game Charone spoke with TCI about the big win, his injury and more!
