Brandon Clear caught his first touchdown pass as a Tiger Saturday afternoon, but that wasn’t the best news he had over the weekend.

In the second quarter Brandon Clear caught a 70 yard touchdown pass from Kyle Parker.

“I don’t worry about my position on the depth chart.  Wherever the coaches feel it is necessary for me to be that is where I will be.  Whenever your number is called you have to be able to produce.  I was fortunate to be able to get in there and make a big play,” said Clear.

Sunday Clear got some good news from his father who had returned home from oversees because of the death of Brandon’s grandfather.

“I found out yesterday that my father won’t have to go back oversees.  He will be able to come to the games now and everything like that.  That was just icing on the cake,” said Clear.

Brandon was glad his father was in the stands to see his first touchdown as a Tiger.

“I didn’t know he was going to be able to see me play this week.  I was fortunate that the Army allowed him to go over there and serve our country.  The Army allowed him to come see my first game which was great, ” said Clear.
