
Clemson red-shirt freshman Tajh Boyd scored his first three touchdowns as a Tiger. Tajh scored on a 6-yard run late in the first quarter. In the second quarter Boyd his DeAndre Hopkins for a 9-yard touchdown pass and later his Daniel Barnes with an 11- yard touchdown pass.
Dabo told Tajh that he would play on the fourth series.
“After the second drive, coach told me I was going in on the fourth series regardless of what happened. I was excited and it was a good thing. I’m looking foward to the next game,” said Boyd.
Tajh talks about his touchdown run.
“The abilty to step out of that tackle on the rushing touchdown definitely came from Coach Batson and his help in the weight room,” said Boyd.
