McDaniel: "We played hard for three quarters"

Senior safety DeAndre McDaniel knows the Tiger defense showed how they can dominate at times Saturday night.

“We went out there andwe  played three hard quarters.  I mean we came out in the third quarter and we kind of let down,” said McDaniel.

What changed in the third quarter?

“They came out and made a few big plays.  We lost our technique on some plays.  It is stuff that we can easily fix,” said McDaniel.

It is time for the seniors to help the team move on past the tough loss.

“We know what we got.  It is time for the seniors to step up and keep the team going.  We knew we would face adversity.  It is here now.  We just have to bounce back,” said McDaniel.

DeAndre grabbed his first interception of the season.

Watch the Thorpe candidate discuss the loss, how they correct the mistakes and much more.

“It was a play we were looking over all week.  They hung the ball up on the wheel route and gave me time to get over there,” said McDaniel.
