Clemson received some good news on the injury front Sunday.  Starting offensive guard David Smith, who was taken off the field on a cart during the overtime, suffered a high ankle sprain and not a broken ankle.

Smith will miss the Miami game, but is expected back some time in October.

Kyle Parker was “bruised and sore” in various places on Sunday, but coach Swinney expects Parker to be ready for the Miami game.  Parker will be limited in practice this week.

After Saturday night’s game the Tigers are now 20th in the nation in scoring, 23rd in rushing offense, ninth in net punting, sixth in turnover margin, fourth in tackles for loss and 14th in sacks.

Parker is now ranked 20th in the nation is passing efficiency.  Marcus Gilchrist in 8th in punt returns and Dawson Zimmerman is 11th in punting.
