Junior defensive end DaQuan Bowers played one of his best games as a Tiger but it wasn’t enough to beat Auburn.

“I challenged myself and I was able to make a lot of plays.  I simply did my job and that is why I was able to make some plays,” said Bowers.

What happened to the Tiger defense in the third quarter?

“Coach Steele broke it down and analyzed it.  I think we gave up something like 150 yards in the first, second and fourth quarter and the overtime.  By the end of the third quarter we had over 250.  We just have to learn how to finish,” replied Bowers.

DaQuan knows he had one of his best games Saturday night.

“I do indeed believe that is one of the better games I have had.  If I can continue to do my job and do what coach Steele asks me to I can have a couple more games like that,” said Bowers.
