Recruiting never stops for Clemson coaches and the search for talented 2012 prospects has already begun.  One prospect that is catching people eyes is 6’3” 180 lbs WR Quinshad Davis. 

Quinshad is good friends and former teammate of Clemson WR Joe Craig and is very familiar with Clemson.

“I went to camp over the summer and I go up and I visited and talk to Joe a lot,” said Davis.

Quinshad says he can’t wait to go up and see the Clemson vs. Miami game next weekend, and could not believe that Clemson ended up losing against Auburn last week.

The standout receiver has not been offered any scholarships yet, but Coach Scott will be at his game Friday checking him out. 

“If I keep playing the way I am the scholarships will come,” said Davis.

Quinshad has help lead Gaffney high school to a 3-2 start and says he has gotten over 100 yards receiving in every game.  Quinshad is also a very good basketball player and led his team to the state title last year.

Clemson, South Carolina, Georgia, and NC State are the schools that have been recruiting him the hardest so far. 

What will the Gaffney standout be looking for when he decides on his college destination?

“I will be looking at accademics and looking for a team that has the best chance to win,” said Davis.

For now Quinshad is just enjoying the recruiting process and says that he is looking at every team equally.
