Allen: "That's Pittsburgh, we are Clemson"

Clemson tight end Dwayne Allen knows the Clemson offense will be challenged by the Miami defense Saturday in the Valley.

“Miami has great skill across the board.  Offense, defense, but especially in the secondary.  They return a lot of guys in their secondary.  Those guys come with experience,” said Allen.

Dwayne says the Canes defense is faster than what Clemson saw from the Auburn Tigers.

“Comparing them to Auburn, they are faster.  They make big plays,” said Allen.

The Tigers were practicing with anger last week because of the missed opportunity at Auburn.  Will the team be able to keep the anger until Saturday?

“Oh definitely.  That is one thing we learned from Auburn.  To not shoot ourselves in the foot.  We had opportunities to win that game and we didn’t seize the opportunity.  As far as this week it is just all about Clemson football,” replied Allen.

Dwayne knows the Miami defense stopped Pittsburgh’s running game last week, but when asked if that concerned him responded, “That’s Pittsburgh, we are Clemson.”
