Senior point guard Demontez Stitt will have to adjust to a new style and a new coach this year.

“It is a lot different.  The style of play in different.  As a team I think everyone is really impressed with the new coaches.  As I said the style is a lot different, but at the same time it meets our team,” said Stitt.

What are the changes under the coach Brownell?

“Learning new cuts and a new motion offense.  On defense we use to press a lot, but this year it doesn’t look like we will press that much.  We are still going to be intense on defense.  We will still press full court with some of our players like the point guard.  Basically we are going to try to keep a man in the point guards face the whole time.  The defense is going to be about the same, we will try to keep up the intensity, but the offense will be a lot different,” replied Stitt.

Demontez hopes to make it back to the NCAA tourney and get some wins this time.

“The biggest goal for me is to make it back to the NCAA and win some games.  Hopefully make it to the ACC Championship this year.  They have us picked last so it will be motivation for us.  We are ready to take on the challenge,” said Stitt.
