Bowers: Tigers Looking for Great Game

By

Clemson junior defensive end DaQuan Bowers leads the nation’s in sacks and tackles for loss at the mid point in the season.

“It is a great honor to be at the top in some of the stats nationally, but I just have to continue to keep working and try to make plays for my team,” said Bowers.

DaQuan may not get the usual stats this week as he focuses on his assignments.

“This week is about being a disciplined player and playing my assignment.  I just have to read my keys and do my job,” said Bowers.

This game is special for the Tigers after falling twice to the Jackets last year.

“This is going to be a very exciting week for us.  This is a team that we didn’t beat last year.  Our whole team has a chip on their shoulder.  We are looking for a great game Saturday,” said Bowers.

Watch DaQuan discuss being a national leader, the challenge with facing the option of Georgia Tech and much more!
