Ellington Puts on a Show

Clemson red-shirt sophomore Andre Ellington put on a show Saturday afternoon in Death Valley as he led the Tigers to a 27-13 victory over Georgia Tech.

Andre found the endzone three times.  The first score came less than two minutes into the game when he went 55 yards for a rushing touchdown.  Early in the second quarter he took it to the house with a 42 yard touchdown run.  The final touchdown came midway through the third quarter as he scored on a ten yard pass from Kyle Parker to put the Tigers up 24-6.

“It felt real good.  We got the win.  That is the main thing.  Without the blocking I wouldn’t have been able to do what I did.  I give my team credit,” said Ellington.

Was this win a little sweater because of who they beat?

“It was.  It was kind of revenge from last year.  We kind of fell short in a big game.  Going out there and punishing those guys like we did was big for us,” said Ellington.

Watch Andre discuss his impressive performance, revenge, the teams confidence and much more!
