Parker: "It is tough"

Clemson quarterback Kyle Parker had one of his best performances of his career Saturday night, but it wasn’t enough as the Tigers lost in the final seconds on a 55 yard field goal.

Parker was 28-44 on the night for 239 yards.

The mood in the lockroom after the game was one of frustration.

“It is tough.  I thought we did everything we could to win.  Obviously we have to get points when we have the opportunity.  With that being said we played hard and it just didn’t turnout the way we wanted it to,” said Parker.

Parker led the Tigers down the field to tie the game with just 55 seconds remaining.

“We had been moving the ball all day.  To get behind after being ahead was tough.  We knew if we got down there and got a chance to put some points on the board that our defense would step up big for us.  You have to tip your hat to them.  That was a long field goal they made,” said Parker.

Watch Kyle discuss the loss, how the team moves forward and much more.
