Minute with Marlin - Heading to Clemson

Clemson verbal commitment Marlin Lane, one of the top running backs in the nation, is doing a diary with TheClemsonInsider.com.  In this edition Marlin talks about the conclusion of his season and looks forward to his visit to Clemson next weekend.

Our season is over now.  We lost in the playoffs.  The last game I had 13 carries for 85 yards.  I also had four receptions for 65 yards.  I had an 85 yard run that they called back for a penalty.

I am disappointed our season is over.  We gave it a good run.  Now I can get ready for Clemson.

I am coming to Clemson next weekend.  I will be coming up with Cortez.  This time I am going to make it for sure.

I am really excited about the visit.  This will be my first time in Death Valley or the big rivalry game.  I can’t wait to see what it is like.

I have been talking a lot with coach Rumph and coach Powell.  We just talk about the same things pretty much.  We are both getting excited because it is almost time for me to get up there to Clemson.

I am firm with Clemson.  I am so ready to get up there.  I can’t wait.
