Napier Out as Offensive Coordinator

Clemson offensive coordinator Billy Napier has been relieved of his duties as coordinator after his second season as the Tiger’s offensive coordinator.

Just a season ago, the Napier led offense had won their first Atlantic division title and scored more points than any Clemson team in history.  Coach Napier recently interviewed for the head coaching job at Clemson.

Billy also coached tight ends for the Tigers and was recruiting coordinator for two seasons before moving to offensive coordinator.

It has not yet been determined if coach Napier will remain with the staff in another role.

Coach Powell was also let go earlier Sunday.
