Powell No Longer at Clemson

Clemson special teams coordinator and running backs coach Andre Powell is no longer a member of the coaching staff at Clemson.

Coach Powell was notified of the change Sunday.

Head coach Dabo Swinney made it clear after the loss to South Florida that there would be changes to the offensive staff.

“I am going to do everything I can to make sure this doesn’t happen again.  I’ll speak further at a later date,” said Swinney.

It is expected that coach Powell will not be the only coaching casualty from the Tigers first losing season since 1998.
