A Day to Remember

A Day to Remember

For the Clemson players, coaches and fans that made the trip to Charlotte Friday may not be a day with a lot of positive memories, but for 25 kids from Power Cross it is a day they will never forget.

The Power Cross organization is based in Statesville, NC and is run by Jeff and Natalie Storment.  Jeff and Natalie have dedicated their lives to helping provide a Christian based organization for over 175 young men.  Power Cross provides a Christian environment that uses athletics and faith to help change the lives of these kids.

The Parker family and their non-profit organization Athletes To Champions has helped the Power Cross organization for the past three years.  In his final game as a Tiger Kyle and Athletes to Champions once again provided some positive memories for these kids.  Kyle personally paid for tickets for a number of the kids and Athletes to Champions pitched in for the rest.

The kids got to be on the field before the bowl game, enjoyed the game from some nice lower level seats and received tokens for food during the game.  After the game an injured Kyle Parker and several other players spent some time with the kids before they returned to Statesville.

Check out the TCI Photo Gallery of the Power Cross kids as they enjoyed the day!
