Coaches Visit Davis, Miami Visit Still On


Clemson sent four coaches to Mainland High School Thursday to visit with Marlin Lane and Cortez Davis. caught up with Cortez Davis after the visit from coach Steele, coach Harbison, coach Pearman and coach Jeff Scott.

“It was a good visit.  They just asked a few questions about what was going on and everything.  They asked if I was still All In,” said Davis.

How did the Mainland standout respond?

“I told them yes, I am still All In,” replied Davis.

Although Davis says he remains All In he does plan to take another official visit.

“I am still going to take another visit.  I am going to Miami tomorrow with Marlin.  Then I am going to visit Clemson.  I am not going to visit Florida State.  That is just Marlin,” said Davis.

How firm is his commitment to the Tigers?

“I am still committed. I am 100%,” replied Davis.

What would it take for Miami to pull ahead of the Tigers?

“I don’t really know,” replied Davis.
