Destefano Working Towards Decision

One of the priorities for Clemson in 2012 is to sign four or five top offensive lineman.  Dorman’s Patrick Destefano is one of the players on the top of the recruiting board.

2012 offensive lineman Patrick Destefano is already working hard to prepare for his senior season.

“You know me there is not offseason.  I am in the preseason.  I am working hard to get ready for next year,” said Destefano.

Coach Brad Scott keeps in touch with one of South Carolina’s top 2012 linemen.

“I talked to Brad Scott last week.  It was just more of the same.  He was just checking up on me,” said Destefano.

Patrick watched the Tigers in the Meineke Car Care Bowl on television.

“That was a depressing loss.  I watched the game.  I mainly just watch the offensive line.  Tajh looked good at the end,” said Destefano.

Patrick hopes to be playing in one of the All-American games  next January.

“If I work my tail off I have a shot to be there next year,” said Destefano.

Two new teams have  joined the offer list for the Palmetto standout.

“I have two new offers from Tennessee and Wake Forest,” said Destefano.

The Dorman standout is working towards a decision.

“I am getting closer to making a decision.  I have it narrowed down to five schools.  I won’t say which five.  I am going to visit all five during my spring semester.  Then I will make my decision,” said Destefano.

The prize recruit expects to have a decision before Dorman starts spring practice.

“I should have all of my visits done before May.  That is when spring practice starts.  I will have my decision before then,” said  Destefano.

The top offensive lineman will visit several junior days over the next month.

“I am set to go to junior days at Duke and South Carolina.  I will also go to Clemson, but I am not  sure of the date.  I can go to Clemson any time.  It is only an hour away,” said Destefano.
