Clemson verbal commitment Jerome Maybank took his official visit to Tigertown and came away impressed with Vickery Hall.

How did Jerome enjoy the official visit to Clemson?

Maybank: Man it was something real crazy. I enjoyed myself. My parents really enjoyed themselves. We got a better understanding of the school this trip.

Who came with Jerome on the visit?

Maybank: My dad and my mom came with me.

What was the highlight of the visit?

Maybank: It was probably learning more about Vickery Hall. We got to split into what we were going to major in at Clemson. I went with the Criminal Justice group. I learned about all of the different types of jobs I could get with that degree.

How did the visit rate on a scale of one to ten?

Maybank: Oh man, I would give it 10.

How did your parents enjoy the visit?

Maybank: They really enjoyed it. They really liked talking to the coaches and the other parents. That is another important part of the trip is for the families to start bonding.

What did you do Saturday night with your player host?

Maybank: We just went around and chilled. They showed me where the players go to hang out. They showed me the chill spots.

Tell us about the conversations with the coaches?

Maybank: They told me to continue to work hard and to finish up strong. They are looking forward to this class getting there and helping turn things around.
