Charlotte Country Day quarterback Morgan Roberts gave a verbal commitment to Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney on Tuesday.  Roberts accepted a greyshirt offer from the Tigers.

Roberts camped at Clemson last summer and was scouted earlier this year by former offensive coordinator Billy Napier.

As a senior Roberts passed for 22 touchdowns and 1970 yards.  He also rushed for 14 touchdowns and 760 yards.  Roberts recently won the MVP award at the private school Shrine Bowl.

The Tigers offered the dual-threat quarterback on Monday.
