Humphries Enjoys Weekend in Clemson

By

Clemson verbal commitment Adam Humphries took his official visit to Clemson over the weekend.  The weekend allowed the Shrine Bowl standout to get a different view of being a Tiger.

How did Adam enjoy the official visit to Clemson?

Humphries: I enjoyed it a lot. It was really, really fun.

Who came with Adam on the visit?

Humphries: My mom and dad came with me.

What was the highlight of the visit?

Humphries: I really thought everything was fun. It all just said Clemson in a way I had never seen it. The town and the atmosphere was really laid back. The highlight was just being able to spend a few days in Clemson.

How did the visit rate on a scale of one to ten?

Humphries: I would give it a 10.

How did your parents enjoy the visit?

Humphries: I think they enjoyed it as much or more than I did. They really liked the coaches and the family atmosphere.

What did you do Saturday night with your player host?

Humphries: I was with Donny. We went back to his house. Some of the other players came over. We just chilled and hung out.

Tell us about the conversations with the coaches?

Humphries: We sat down with Dabo today. They didn’t really talk much football which surprised me. It was really just enjoying the weekend and having a good time.

How do you think Ray Drew enjoyed the visit?

Humphries: I think Ray really enjoyed it. He took a couple of runs down the hill. I went down once, but he went down a couple of times. I think we have a shot with him.
