Dabo Visits Cortez Davis

Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney flew to Daytona Beach on Wednesday to meet with Mainland High standout Cortez Davis.

“Coach Swinney and coach Cheese came by today.  They came by the house to see me and the family.  My parents liked the visit,” said Davis.

What did coach Swinney tell the top defensive back?

“We just talked about my grades.  We talked about when I will come up to Clemson.  They told me how  to do everyting on signing day,” replied Davis.

Cortez had a message for coach Swinney.

“I told him I was happy to be signing with him,” said Davis.

In only five months Cortez will be officially a Tiger.

“I will be up at Clemson on July 2,” said Davis.

The Florida standout can’t wait for signing day to end his recruiting process.

“We are having a ceremony at the school.  I am very excited.  I can’t wait to get it over with,” said Davis.
