Clemson head coach Jack Leggett spoke with the media before the Tiger’s first practice of 2011.

Leggett discussed how the new bats could change college baseball.  The new bats are expected to reduce the number of homeruns which will make defense even more important.

Coach Leggett wants to get Will Lamb on the field as much as possible this season so he can use his bat as well as his arm.

The expectations for this year’s team are no different than any other, make the College World Series.  This year’s team is much more confident after being only one win away from the championship series last season.
