No Early Leader for Davis

Fresh off landing the No. 1 receiving classs in the country the Clemson staff has turned their focus to the 2012 class.  Gaffney standout Quinshad Davis could be the top receiver in the Palmetto state.  A number of schools are showing interest early.

“I am hearing from Georgia, Tennessee, Nebraska, Clemson and South Carolina,” said Davis.

When asked if he has a leader, Davis responded, “No, not yet”.

Quinshad wasn’t able to make any of the junior days.

“All of the junior days were on the same day.  I had a game that day so I couldn’t make it,” said Davis.

Where would Quinshad like to visit this spring?

“I don’t want to go too far out of state.  I might go visit Georgia, North Carolina and North Carolina State,” replied Davis.

A decision won’t likely come until late in the process for the top receiver.

“I am going to make my decision on signing day.  I will wait and take my official visits after the season,” said Davis.

What does the Gaffney standout think of Clemson’s top ten recruiting class?

“I hadn’t really looked at it, but everyone has told me about it,” replied Davis.

The Clemson staff is sending plenty of mail to Quinshad.

“They can’t call right now so they are sending a lot of mail,” said Davis.
