Clemson head basketball coach Brad Brownell picked up the Tiger’s first commitment for the class of 2012 on Saturday evening.
Jaron Blossomgame, a small forward at Chattahoochee High School, committed just hours after picking up an offer from the Tiger’s head coach.
Blossomgame, a 6-foot-7, 205 lb forward, is averaging 25 points and nearly 10 rebounds a game this season. The junior is listed among the top 150 players in the nation.
Other offers included Wichita State and Tennessee Tech.
Chattahoochee High School is also the school that recent football signee, kicker Ammon Lakip, attends.
