6-4, 260 pound defensive tackle Jonathan Bullard visited Clemson Saturday where he attended the basketball game against North Carolina and got some good news from head coach Dabo Swinney. Bullard will be one of the top defensive tackles in the Carolinas in 2012.
“It was fun. I really enjoyed it,” said Bullard.
Coach Swinney took the opportunity to meet with Jonathan and his mother during the visit.
“Well he took me in his office and talked to me and my mom. He offered me a full ride face to face. He said Clemson would love for me to join the family,” said Bullard.
Several ACC and SEC schools have already offered the top defensive tackle.
“I have offers from Clemson, Florida, NC State, North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee and South Carolina,” said Bullard.
Don’t expect a late decision from the Crest standout.
“I don’t really know right now, but it will not be too late,” said Bullard.
The Vols will get the next visit from the prize recruit.
“I am going to Tennessee on February 26,” said Bullard.
What will Jonathan consider when deciding on his college destination?
“I will look at academics, playing time and looking for good coaching,” replied Bullard.
