Craig Has Speed to Burn

Both Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney and offensive coordinator Chad Morris continue to praise red-shirt freshman Joe Craig.  One of the goals the staff has for the spring is to figure out the best way to use Joe in the new offense.

“It is going nice.  I was looking forward to coming out here and getting a feel for the new offense.  It is going nice working with Tajh and Tony McNeal and Cole Stoudt,” said Craig.

The former Gaffney standout knows he has a weapon the staff can use.

“I told coach Swinney that I may not be big, but I have speed.  That is something you can’t coach,” said Craig.

Where does Joe see himself fitting into the Clemson offense?

“I see myself more of a slot guy, a speed guy,” said Craig.

Watch Joe discuss spring practice, his role in the offense and much more!
