Buice Ready for His Chance

Demont Buice will be one of the running backs trying to show the staff during the spring that he deserves playing time this fall.  Demont is excited about the new offense brought in by Chad Morris.

“The tempo is great.  I like the fast pace and the offense.  We are going to keep the defense off guard.  The first thing I noticed on camera was by the time the ball is snapped the chains arent’ even set yet.  I like that.  We catch them off guard and then we hit them in the mouth if it comes down to it,” said Buice.

The adjustments to the new tempo have been easier because of the All In drills.

“We are adjusting real well.  I think the All In drills helped us a lot.  If we the All In drills weren’t there it would have been a lot harder than what it was,” said Buice.

The red-shirt freshman is glad he will get a chance to play this fall.

“I am a lot happier.  I got red-shirted and now I am ready to show I can play.  I am good to go,” said Buice.
