Saturday Leggett Postgame

TheClemsonInsider.com caught up with Clemson head coach Jack Leggett following the Tigers victory over Duke Saturday night at Doug Kingsmore.

On the win tonight:

We did a good job tonight, especially the two big innings early. After giving up three, we come back and get five and that is huge. Then after the delay, we came back and played really well. We took advantage of a couple of walks and made the most of our chances. We were aggressive and hopefully that can continue tomorrow.

On bouncing back with two wins after a tough stretch:

Tomorrow is another day and we just have to take the positives out of the past two games and keep it up. We have to keep our focus and concentration and go out and battle tomorrow.

On the guys staying loose during the delay:

These guys are pretty loose all the time. We knew we had about 45 minutes before we could play again, but they kept their focus on what we had to do. Fortunately, we came out and took advantages of some walks and hit balls in the strike zone. We had a good inning and that kind of established where we were in the ballgame.
