By caught up with Jeff Schaus following the Tigers victory Sunday over Duke. Schaus continued to hit well as he went 3-5 on Sunday.

“Yeah, I think we played up to our capabilities. The fans stuck with us. You have to give them credit for showing up,” said Schaus.

What has caused the turnaround in his hitting?

“We are just being aggressive. I think we realize we are capable of hitting any pitcher we want to hit. We just have to be aggressive early in the count and hit our pitches,” said Schaus.

Jeff and his teammates have adjusted their offense because of the new bats.

“It think we made some adjustments. Everyone knows there are less homeruns with the new bats so you have to hit more line drives to the gaps,” said Schaus.

Watch Jeff talk about the improved offense, the sweep of Duke and much more on TCITV?
