McDowell Likes New Offense

Clemson running back Rod McDowell has enjoyed the switch to coach Morris’ spread offense.

“I like it.  This is really what Clemson needed, a spread offense.  We can just go out there and have fun.  The athlete on the field and the coaches we are just having fun,” said McDowell.

How hard is it coming back from a week off for spring break?

“We just have to stay focused.  Every day we are learning stuff, we are installing.  We just need to take in everything we learn and execute on the practice field,” replied McDowell.

Stamina is very important in the new Chad Morris offense.

“In an offense like this you can’t get tired.  It is a mental thing.  You have to stay focused and keep working,” said McDowell.
