Tigers Pick Up Third 2012 Commit

Dabo Swinney and staff picked up their third commitment of the 2012 class, running back Germone Hopper.

Hopper committed Friday afternoon during his visit to Tigertown.  The six-foot, 170lb  rushed for 1395 yards and 18 touchdowns on 162 carries as a junior for Phillip O Berry Acadamy in Charlotte, NC.

Hopper’s list of scholarship offers is impressive, and it included Auburn, Kentucky, and Tennessee of the SEC as well as Maryland, North Carolina, NC State, Virginia and Virginia Tech from the ACC.
