Boyd Leads Orange to Victory

Tajh Boyd led the Orange team to victory Saturday as 25,000 fans got their first look at the 2011 Tigers.

“We have a lot of work to do.  We did some good things today.  I can’t wait to get things kicked off this summer,” said Boyd.

Boyd rushed eight times for 43 yards including a touchdown on the opening drive.  Tajh was 8-24 for 114 yards passing on the afternoon.

The hot weather was a factor Saturday in the Valley.

“It was a lot more humid out there for some reason than practice.  I got tired for some reason.  It definitely went well,” said Boyd.

Tajh knows the summer workouts will be critical for the team’s success next fall.

“The summer is where everything is going to happen.  Our champship, if we have one, will come from this summer,” said Boyd.

Watch Tajh discuss Saturday’s Orange White game, the up tempo, his performance and much more.
