After splitting two midweek games (including winning the Beanpot Tournament over Harvard), the Eagles took a game from top-ranked Virginia last weekend. This week Boston College hosts Central Connecticut State on Wednesday before traveling to Wake Forest this weekend in ACC play.

5/1     Virginia Tech                    L, 0-9 

After dropping a midweek game at Davidson, the Blue Devils dropped a tough series at home to Virginia Tech. This week Duke takes the week off before hosting Mount St. Mary’s in a doubleheader next Sunday.

5/1     @ #14 Miami (FL)             L, 1-5 

The Seminoles, ranked as high as #6 in the country, took two of three games at #14 Miami (FL) last weekend. This week Florida State travels to Jacksonville on Tuesday before stepping out of ACC play for a three-game home series against Central Florida this weekend.

The Yellow Jackets, ranked as high as #10 in the country, dropped a midweek contest against Georgia at Turner Field before dropping two of three games at #23 Clemson last weekend. This week Georgia Tech takes the week off before traveling to Illinois-Chicago for a three game series that runs Saturday through Monday.

The Terrapins swept two midweek games before dropping a tough series at NC State this past weekend. This week Maryland has a two-game set with Towson (Tuesday at home, Wednesday at Towson) before traveling to #12 North Carolina in ACC action.

The Hurricanes, ranked as high as #14 in the country, won a midweek contest over South Florida before dropping two of three home games to #9 Florida State. This week Miami (FL) steps out of ACC play and hosts Hofstra for a three-game series this weekend. 

NC State                        Overall: 25-20      ACC: 11-13           This Week: 2-1

The Wolfpack took two of three games against Maryland this past weekend. This week NC State, like several other teams in the conference, steps out of league play and hosts East Tennessee State for three games this weekend. 

North Carolina               Overall: 33-10      ACC: 13-8             This Week: 1-0

4/27   @ East Carolina                W, 5-4 

The Tar Heels, ranked as high as #12 in the nation, won a midweek game at East Carolina before taking the weekend off for exams. This week North Carolina hosts Gardner-Webb on Tuesday before welcoming Maryland to town in ACC play.

The Cavaliers, ranked #1 in two of the three main national polls, had a midweek tilt with Virginia Commonwealth cancelled before taking two of three games at Boston College this past weekend. This week Virginia travels to Virginia Commonwealth on Tuesday before taking the weekend off for exams.

The Hokies had yet another good week with a midweek win over North Carolina A&T before taking two of three games at Duke to keep them in control for the #8 seed in the ACC Tournament. This week Virginia Tech hosts USC-Upstate on Wednesday before welcoming James Madison for a two-game series on Saturday and Sunday.

The Demon Deacons split a home-and-home series this past midweek before taking the weekend off. This week Wake Forest finishes up their exams before hosting Boston College this weekend in ACC action.
