Blacksburg – The first game of a doubleheader between Clemson and Virginia Tech is in a lightning delay that started at 1:40. 

The Tigers held a 7-2 lead in the bottom of the ninth when the game was stopped. 

Virginia Tech has runners on first and third with no outs.  Scott Firth was pitching for the Tigers.
