Dorman offensive lineman Patrick Destefano, the top offensive lineman in South Carolina, announced Monday afternoon that he has committed to the Clemson Tigers.

The Marine All-American held a press conference at Dorman to let the college football world know that he plans to be a Tiger.

The 6-5, 280 pound lineman has an impressive offer list that includes top programs such as Georgia, Florida, Florida State, Michigan, Penn State, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, South Carolina, North Carolina and many others.

Clemson has landed several other top prospects from Dorman over the past few years including Brandon Thomas, Charone Peake and Adam Humphries.

Destefano becomes the fourth verbal commitment for the Tiger’s 2012 class.
