Clemson to Host Regional


Doug Kingsmore Stadium will be one of 16 regional host sites for the 2011 Baseball NCAA Tournament. 

Clemson played as well as any team in the nation coming down the stretch.  The Tigers went 27-6 to end the season.  Clemson finished the ACC Tournament with a record of 41-18. 

Other host sites include Georgia Tech, Texas, Cal State Fullerton, North Carolina, Virginia, Texas A&M, South Carolina, Oregon State, TCU, Florida, Rice, UCLA, Vanderbilt, Florida State and Arizona State.

The national seedings and the teams for each regional will be announced Monday at 12:30.
