Tankersly Commits to Clemson

Silver Bluff athlete Cordrea Tankersly gave a verbal commitment to Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney Wednesday night.

The 6-2, 190 pound prospect picked the Tigers over Miami and South Carolina.

The 4-star prospect played quarterback for Silver Bluff in 2010 when he rushed for 1,520 yards, passed for 875 and scored 24 toucdhowns.  Clemson is expected to play Tankersly at defensive back.

Cordrea gives the Tigers five verbal commitments for the class of 2012.  Next week Cordrea will attend the Dabo Swinney football camp.
