5-star Blanks Commits to Tigers


Once again the Tigers have a commitment from one of the top prospects from the Sunshine state.  5-star defensive back Travis Blanks gave a verbal commitment to the Clemson coaching staff on Friday. 

Just a day after attending the Dabo Swinney Football camp Travis decided to join the Tiger’s commitment parade making him the third commitment in three days.  Blanks showed at the camp why he is one of the top defensive backs in the nation. 

Travis called coach Jeff Scott to give him the good news. 

Travis is expected to play safety for the Tigers.

Blanks gives the Tigers seventh commitments for the class of 2012.
