The Clemson coaching staff is looking forward to welcoming the 2011 class to Tigertown on July 3rd. They are especially looking forward to welcoming Ryan Norton and the other three offensive lineman of the 2011 class. One major concern for the Tiger is their depth at offensive line, Norton is hoping to help in any way possible.
“I’m going to come in and do my best, go 110% and do whatever the team needs from me,” said Norton.
Where does he fit in on the offensive line?
“Coach Caldwell said when I first walk on the field I will be listed as the 3rd sting center,” said Norton. “He said he expects me to be the 2nd string center by the end of the summer.”
Norton will be rooming with fellow offensive lineman Spencer Region and WR/DB Adam Humphries and K Ammon Lakip.
Any goals for the 6’4” 275 lbs. lineman?
“Just help the team out as much as possible,” said Norton. “I want to win the national championship, so anything I can do to help, I will.”
Norton said he will be working out the rest of June before arriving in Clemson on July 3rd.
