Weismann Signs with Cubs


Junior Scott Weismann has signed with the Chicago Cubs and will not return to Clemson. 

Weismann was drafted in the 46th round as the 1389 pick by the Cubs.  Scott began the season as the Friday starter then moved to the closer role for the Tigers.

Scott was 3-5 on the season with a 4.89 ERA.  He had 24 appearances and 7 saves in 2011.
