Burrell Commits to Clemson

Goose Creek linebacker T.J. Burrell joined the commitment parade for the Clemson Tigers Thursday night.

After attending the second session of the Dabo Swinney camp the state’s top linebacker decided it was time to end his recruitment.

What does the top linebacker like about the Tigers?

“I like the atmosphere up there.  The town and city are all about the school and I love that.  I have a great relationship with the coaches and just feel at home whenever I am there,” replied Burrell.

T.J. selected the Tigers over other offers from schools including Duke, Georgia Tech, South Carolina, Illinois, Kentucky and Vanderbilt.

Burrell becomes the tenth commitment for the Tiger’s class of 2012 and the second of the day following Chad Kelly’s earlier in the day.
