Clemson Athletic Director Terry Don Phillips and coach Penley announced the women’s golf program at a press conference Monday afternoon.
Coach Penley will move into a new role as the Director of Clemson golf and will move forward quickly to hire a head coach for the women’s team.
The Clemson program will begin play in 2013.
