What is the difference in Jaron’s role this season?

“My job is just to go out and make a play.  Wherever the coaches put  me in position to do and they do a good job of putting me in a position to make a play.  Whether its running a reverse, or catching a bubble screen or going for a deep pass,” replied Brown.

Jaron is much more comfortable with the offense than he was when spring practice started.

“I am very comfortable with it.  The spring helped out a lot.  I think the summer is just picking up where we left off in the spring.  I think we are a lot more advanced than where we were in the spring,” said Brown.

What does Jaron think of the freshmen?

“The freshmen are extremely talented.  They are going out there and making plays and they are really conditioned well too,” replied Brown.

“I tried to help those guys during skills and drills, and keep them encouraged.  I give them words of advice and when they ask me questions I answer them because I know what it was like when I was coming in as a freshman,” said Brown.
