While the Tigers held their first scrimmage of the year in Death Valley, rumors swirled around the nation about Clemson being on the SEC radar for expansion.

TheClemsonInsider.com asked head coach Dabo Swinney what he thought about the expansion talk following Saturday’s scrimmage.

“First of all Tim Bourrett came and told me today there was some talk.  I guess there has been a lot more talk here recently.  I don’t think about that for two seconds.  I have one focus and that is to get this team ready to play Troy.  That is really my only focus.  The rest of that stuff is a waste of my time right now,” said Swinney.
