One-on-one with Brandon Thompson

By caught up with Brandon Thompson following the first scrimmage of the year for the Tigers.

How did the defense perform in Saturday’s scrimmage?

“I think overall we did a pretty good job.  It is always little things that we can work on like formations and other stuff like that.  Overall we did a pretty good job,” said Thompson.

How did Brandon feel about his performance?

“You know I always think I can do better.  I missed a couple of tackles and there were some places where I could have ran down and made a play but I didn’t get to that point because I was still tied up on my blocks.  There is still a lot of stuff that I need to work on,” said Thompson.

How did the younger guys on the defensive line look Saturday?

“I’m not really sure.  I need to go back and watch film.  From an overall glimpse they looked pretty good.  They come out there every day with us and work hard because the want to obtain that greatness,” said Thompson.
